    You should avoid putting the OSD mounts in fstab, fstab is only for system mounts and if a OSD device fails your system will hang on boot. With the exception of the earliest Ceph release (argonaut and earlier), ceph-osd will detect a “magic value” filesytem label, mount and discover the osd_id based on a file on the data volume.
